FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT YOU'VE BEEN ASKING

How do I open my EDGEDROP?

The EDGEDROP cap is very secure, so it won't come loose in your bag. To remove the cap, squeeze the cap at the top and the bottom at the same time and pull.

You can see a video in the highlights on our Instagram page, and on our Tiktok too (@beemco.world).

Do I have to pay duties or taxes?

If you’re in any of the following countries, taxes and duties are included in the price you pay at checkout, so you won’t get any surprises from customs:

  • UK
  • EU
  • USA
  • Canada
  • Australia

If you're ordering to any other countries you may be subject to local customs duties or taxes.

Where is my package?

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use that link at any time to see the latest updates on your delivery.

If your tracking hasn’t updated yet, don’t worry - carriers can take a little time to scan parcels, especially during busy periods.

If it’s been longer than expected or something doesn’t look right, just get in touch with us by sending an email to support@beemco.world with your order number, and we’ll look into it for you.

Is the EDGEDROP suitable for all hair types?

Yes. It’s designed with textured hair in mind, but it works perfectly for any hair type - coily, curly or straight. You can use your EDGEDROP for styling your edges, smoothing flyaways and on beards and brows too.

Is there a compartment for gel?

Some people keep a bit of edge control inside the lid of their EDGEDROP. We might be working on a more slick solution, though …

What are the EDGEDROP bristles made from?

The bristles are mostly boar hair, with a small amount of nylon bristles. Boar hair is gentle on your delicate baby hairs and skin, and the added nylon ensures the perfect firmness for edge styling.

No boars were harmed in the creation of the brush.

How do I clean my EDGEDROP?

To clean your EDGEDROP, wash it with warm soapy water and leave to dry with the cap off.

Is the EDGEDROP sustainable?

We’re working towards improving our environmental impact. At the moment, the EDGEDROP is made from recyclable plastic. Boar hair is biodegradable but nylon is not. In time, we hope we can work with more recycled materials.

All of our packaging is recyclable paper or cardboard.

Are you Black-owned?

YES. BEEMCO is proudly Black-owned.

What are edges?

Edges are the fine hairs along your hairline – you might know them as ‘baby hairs’. For many of us, styling (or ‘laying’) our edges is part of our hair ritual. You can do simple edges or detailed edges, mad swirls and swoops or just slicked straight back.

Edges have deep roots in Black culture, but people of all backgrounds and hair types style their edges.
